Lo primero es agradecer a P. el regalo de esta botella. No me hubiese inclinado nunca a comprar o pedir un vino de Cuenca. En esto se demuestra cuanto nos queda por aprender. Y sí, de nuevo, comento un vino de año, de esos que tanto me gusta probar.
Elegimos esta botella para acompañar una comida a base de setas y foie de primero y paella de segundo. La elección del vino resultó perfecta para la comida.
Para empezar, sólo diré que nos invadió una sensación agridulce cuando se terminó la botella. Y aún a riesgo de repetirme (lo hago ¿verdad?) este es, sin duda, uno de los mejores vinos de año que he probado.
A la vista da un color cereza fuerte, con un borde que tira al violáceo. En la nariz sientes un olor a fruta madura, como de bálsamo, algo dulce…
En la boca es , sabroso y fresco, con buena acidez..
Sólo le pongo un pero… y es la graduación: con 14º, para mi, se torna un poco fuerte.
Como decía, acertamos en el maridaje, pero hubiese servido para acompañar un plato de verduras, pasta, y postres (soy un enamorado del postre con vino).
