Probablemente es el restaurante con más fama de la capital holandesa. Se encuentra en el hotel que lleva el mismo nombre y que ha sido completamente renovado recientemente pero siguiendo fiel al estilo del anterior Blakes.
La primera toma de contacto con el salón es fantástico. Preciosa decoración, muy moderna con mezcla de tonos blancos y negros que lo hacen tremendamente elegante. Es la atmósfera perfecta para pasar una romántica cena en pareja.
Pero además del ambiente, además se cena de muerte. Es un restaurante de cocina de fusión, de mezcla de sabores de oriente y occidente, con platos para casi todos los gustos. De los primeros platos nos quedamos con las cremas de diferentes sabores que ofrecen y con el ceviche que es espectacular. Y de segundos platos, hay varios basados en animales de caza dependiendo de la temporada. Nos gustó mucho el pato y el ciervo que probamos. Quizás, sorprende ver en la carta rodaballo y raya pero es muy difícil que apostemos por tomar pescado fuera de España ya que siempre lo compararé y saldrá ganando el español. Por lo menos este tipo de pescados porque el ceviche y el sushi por poner dos ejemplos también lo son y esos los hemos probado y los seguiremos tomando frecuentemente en otros lugares.
El servicio es muy profesional e impecable como merece el lugar.
La carta de vinos es muy amplia. Bastante elevada de precio pero existen algunas referencias con un coste adecuado.
En cuanto al precio, una comida media, con vino suele rondar los 100 euros por persona. Recomendarlo o no depende del plan de cada uno pero si buscamos un restaurante de categoría elevada no nos defraudará.
